Spring School on Social Media Retrieval

PetaMedia is organizing the Spring School on Social Media Retrieval from February 22nd till 25th in Interlaken, Switzerland.

This Spring School, bringing together leading researchers and practitioners, provides postgraduate students the opportunity to gain deeper insight into the analysis to "social media" and challenges related to multimedia semantics. The Spring School will include lectures, discussions and interactions with guest lecturers recognized as experts in their fields.

The Spring School on Social Media Retrieval offers

1. lectures delivered by experts from academy and industry providing a clear and in-depth summary of state-of-the-art research in social media retrieval and,
2. collaborative projects in small groups providing hands-on experience on integrative work on selected problems from the field.
